Mark your caledars NOW for the 2011 EU Embassies' Open House: Saturday, May 7, 2011, 10 AM to 4 PM.

Some 96,000 visits in total were paid to all of the European Union Embassies in Washington, DC, on May 8, 2010, for the 4th EU Embassies' Open House. It was a day of family fun, food and culture. Free shuttle buses with two routes will dropped off visitors at various Embassies. The 2010 event highlighted the theme GREEN EUROPE: GOOD FOR THE ECONOMY AND THE ENVIRONMENT. We wanted to show, through our own experience, that it is possible to tackle climate change, grow a clean energy economy of the future and become world leaders in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20% by 2020.
