The Delegation of the European Commission in
Washington, DC, is looking for a Chauffeur to
include:
- Driving of official staff cars,
transporting senior members and visitors of
the Delegation and carrying out messenger
and delivery services within the DC Area;
- Ensuring vehicles are clean, roadworthy,
maintained and serviced to a high standard;
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned within the
Administration Section.
The successful interviewee will possess and
be able to demonstrate the following:
• Extensive knowledge of DC Metro Area;
• Minimum 5 years professional driving
experience, impeccable driving record and
clean driving license;
• Must be flexible as evening/weekend duty
is routinely required;
• Must be professional, punctual and able to
safeguard confidential matters discussed by
others during the performance of duties;
• Basic administration/IT skills; able to
use internet, check e-mails, use scheduling
software;
• An effective communicator with an
excellent command of English, another
European language an advantage.
Package includes a salary ranging from $32K to
$45K, dependent on experience, and generous
vacation, health insurance and other social
benefits.
