Ambassador Bruton Testifies on EU Energy Policy Before the Senate Finance Committee

Ambassador John Bruton of the European Commission Delegation to the U.S. testified yesterday before the Senate Finance Committee on European Union policies and initiatives to curb greenhouse gas emissions and limit energy dependency; these measures include energy taxation and an emission trading scheme.
