EU HIGH REPRESENTATIVE JAVIER SOLANA IN WASHINGTON
3-4 MAY 2005

Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), is in Washington, DC, until Wednesday 4 May 2005, for meetings with Ms. Condoleeza Rice, US Secretary of State, and with Stephen Hadley, US National Security Advisor. The High Representative is also scheduled to address the Committee on International Relations of the United States House of Representatives. The visit will provide the opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and to exchange views with regards to international issues of common concern.

While in Washington, DC, Mr. Solana will also participate in a breakfast meeting hosted by Atlantic Partnership, a think-tank specialized in trans-Atlantic relations and will attend an inaugural reception to celebrate the creation of the new “European Union” Congressional Caucus on Capitol Hill.
