US/EU Negotiations on Air Services Agreement Resume Monday
Following a telephone conversation today, US Secretary of Transportation,
Norman Mineta, and
Jacques Barrot, Vice President of the European
Commission in charge of
Transport, agreed to resume negotiations with a
view to reaching a comprehensive first step air services agreement between
the US and the European Union.
Negotiations will take place in Brussels on October 17th.
