AMBASSADOR JOHN BRUTON STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF CONGRESSWOMAN JO ANN DAVIS

Ambassador John Bruton of the European Commission Delegation to the United States issued the following statement today upon the death of Congresswoman Jo Ann Davis.

"Congresswoman Jo Ann Davis will be greatly missed by the many friends she made in the European Union through her work promoting closer links between Congress and the European Parliament, which brings together the elected representatives of the 27 member countries of the European Union. Her personal warmth and her ability to speak candidly were greatly admired, as was the tremendous bravery she displayed in the last two years coping with her illness."
