Incorrect on Iran

Charles Krauthammer [op-ed, Jan. 18] is unusually bilious about "aging, post-historic" Europe in his article on the grave threat of Iran developing nuclear weapons. Despite this, he draws no conclusions on what to do now. He goes on to confuse looking before you leap with keeping your head in the sand. Not the same thing, I venture to suggest! The European Union (supported by the United States) is determined that this problem will be tackled methodically and in a way that builds the widest coalition so that we can get the outcome we want.
